Redeemer Bible Institute

At Redeemer Bible Church we believe God’s Word is sufficient for every good work, which is why we founded Redeemer Bible Institute. Our desire is to equip the saints for the work of ministry by  teaching the body how to diligently study, accurately handle, and faithfully apply God’s Word in every area of life. We offer a variety of classes and studies throughout the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Take These Classes for Seminary Credit?

Redeemer Bible Church is partnering with the Cornerstone Bible College & Seminary to offer college or seminary credit for our theological and linguistic classes. Those who want to receive college or seminary level credit for these classes will need to register as students of CBCS and pay the necessary academic fees.

Is there a cost to take these classes?

All of the RBI classes themselves are available for free. You will need to purchase your own books and materials. However, for the classes that can be taken for seminary credit, there is a fee to get that credit . Note that this fee is greatly reduced from what a typical seminary class would cost.

Can I pop in or do I have to enroll for the whole time?

While we won’t require people to come to every class, the lectures are designed to build upon each other. So we really encourage people to think about what classes they want to take and commit to finishing an entire class. Most of the classes will have a roughly three or six month commitment.

Will there be homework?

The classes will all have homework, although doing the homework is optional if you aren’t taking a class for seminary credit. To get the most out of the class we do recommend that you do as much homework as you can. We will list multiple levels of homework for each class so students can decide how much time they can invest in the class.

Where will the classes be held?

The classes will all be held at the Redeemer Bible Church  building, either in Room 1 or the Main Worship Center, depending on the sizes of the classes.

Will the lectures be recorded?

Do you have to be a member to take these courses?

We are planning to record the classes and make them available to students who miss a class, or in the future to believers who want to take the class as an independent study.
You don’t need to be a member of Redeemer Bible Church  to take the classes. In fact, various other like-minded churches in the area may be sending saints to join with us.

Is there a minimum age requirement ?

How do I enroll?

There are no age requirements on taking the classes. As long as a student is mature enough to sit quietly and is seeking to learn, they are welcome to join. If there is a question if a particular class would be helpful to a student, feel free to reach out on the form below.
If you are not taking a class for seminary credit, just show up to the first class. If you want to take a class for seminary credit, you will need to apply to the Seminary and then enroll in the class. Inquire below for more details.

What materials will be needed for the courses?

What is the schedule of the classes?

Each class will have different materials for it including books and the syllabus. Come to the first class to learn what is required or recommended for each class.
All of the classes take off roughly one month during December for winter break, and take off roughly two months during summer.

How are the classes structured?
